About Us and Why Are We In Business?

Many years ago our mission was to help others create and write their family history. It was interesting for us to discover that the hardest part of creating a history was not in the creation or writing, it was for others to find the right photos to be used in their book.

We accepted the challenge to write a software program to help other organize and find their photos and personal information. The software program was, and still is a great help for those want to write and share a history or biography, however, now it does many more exciting things! Its grown from a photo database program into a tool that helps you do many wonderful things with your photos and information. It’s gratifying to hear one of our 80 year old users tell us how much they love using the software.

We will soon be up to the 10th version of our software. How is that possible? Because we have listened to our users feedback and have added the things they want and need into each version. We often know what our users need and want because we use the software ourselves and put features into the software that will be helpful as our users learn to do more.

What Are Our Goals?

We want to help you be successful accomplishing your projects instead of wasting time getting frustrated and fighting with your computer.

Make our software even more functional, powerful and useful. If you want to make a quick determination of the success of any software program, just take a look at the version number. The larger the version number, the longer the program has been in existence. The version number also reveals the commitment the developer have to their software program. Just in case you are interested, our current version number 9.3. That means we have released over NINE major versions. In that number there have also been numerous free updates. We only release a new version when we have made significant changes and added some real improvements.

Listen to your feedback and ideas. Many of the improvements originated from comments and suggestions from our loyal users. Some of our users have been using our software for over ten years and report how much they love all the changes and improvements we have made. Several users are over 80+ years old and having a great time wowing and sharing with their kids and grandchildren.

Why haven’t You Heard About Us?

The answer is simple. We’re a small company and have not had a much of an advertising budget. Most users have discovered us at small conventions, via Legacy Family Tree, or searching the internet. We have invested most of our resource into the software and supporting our users. That is changing as you can see from this new and updated website with even more new resources coming in the very near future.
